Public Workshops
For the General Plan to clarify a long-range vision and establish policy guidelines for addressing growth and development, growing circulation challenges and maintaining the characteristics that define individual communities and the City as a whole, it must reflect the values, priorities and concerns of the San Marcos residents and stakeholders. Ensuring effective public involvement in the update process is thus a critical component of the overall project and one of the keys to developing a successful General Plan.
As part of the General Plan update process, the City will be hosting the following public workshops, beginning in late 2009.
